Nine holes, good food, and good company — every other Sunday afternoon.
About the league
The most social league on the calendar. A relaxed nine-hole scramble so a non-golfing partner can play without pressure, then food and good company after the round. Every other Sunday, July through October.
Couples play a two-person scramble — you both hit, take the better shot, and go again — so nobody feels on the spot. A team handicap keeps the field even from the first tee.
Eight events across the summer, and we only count your best six, so missing a Sunday or two won't sink your season. Show up, play nine, and hang out after.
The $100 join fee is waived for everyone this season for our late-season start, and it's $67 per couple each event — which includes your nine, a cart, and hot dogs, chips & drinks. Event eight is Championship Sunday, with double points to close the season.
Format & rules
Couples scramble
Two-person teams play a net scramble — both hit, pick the best, repeat. No golf experience required of either partner.
Every other Sunday
Eight afternoon events, July through October. 3:30 shotgun in summer, 3:00 once the days get shorter.
Best 6 of 8
Only your six best events count toward the standings, so an occasional missed Sunday is no problem.
Championship Sunday
No playoff bracket — Event 8 is a double-points finale, followed by a season-end awards night for the whole league.
Each event is a net stroke-play scramble — your team handicap is 35% of your combined rolling handicaps, and the field is ranked by net team score. Points run 20 for a win down through the field (minimum 5), we count your best six of eight events, and Event 8 pays double.
Team handicap is 35% of your combined declared handicaps (standard 2-person scramble allowance).

Questions
Perfect — that's exactly who this league is for. In a scramble you always play the better of your two shots, so a newer golfer can swing freely and still contribute. The hang afterward is half the fun.
